This is an incredible concept. I could never get into foursquare/gowalla because the “gaming” aspect wasn’t enough to keep me interested and so they never provided any real value. Placebook sounds like it’ll make location relevant for a lot of people like me.
Really great interview. I look forward to seeing how Placebook and location-based services in general develop in the future. By the way, Robert, you should get a camera that doesn’t stop recording mid-interview.
